The Pharmacology and Immunotherapy Group focuses on research and development of formulation and testing of biologically active compounds, drug substances, diagnostics, and vaccines for human and veterinary applications. We focus on the formulation of active substances and antigens into nanoparticulate carriers and mucoadhesive drug delivery systems designed to increase the bioavailability of substances and to overcome mucosal and skin barriers.

We cooperate with both academic institutions and industrial partners. We have experience in transferring technology developed in cooperation with our partners from laboratory scale to industrial (GMP) production.
